Katie is a Senior Chartered Physiotherapist with a decade of experience in rehabilitation, specialising in the care of older adults and the principles of positive ageing. She has developed expertise in treating conditions such as osteoporosis, frailty and neurodegenerative disorders, as well as in the implementation of progressive resistance training.

As a former communications officer for the Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology and Gerontology, Katie is a respected speaker on the importance of resistance training for older populations. Her contributions to national guidelines and educational materials on behalf of the ISCP reflect her dedication to advancing the field.

In her role, Katie designs and leads Progressive Resistance Training classes in a purpose-built gym, creating a vibrant and enjoyable environment for exercise. She is committed to helping individuals achieve their personal fitness goals while promoting a fun and engaging approach to health and wellbeing.

  • Wrote guidance document “Guidance for Physiotherapists Working with Older People During and Post Cocooning” – this document was endorsed and promoted internationally by The World Confederation of Physiotherapists.
